Dear colleagues and friends,
It is indeed my honor and pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the Taiwan Radiological Society and Asian Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine to the fourth ASMRM annual meeting, which will be held in a hybrid event format in Taipei, Taiwan, from 21 to 22 May 2022. During this congress, interdisciplinary outstanding invited speakers from around the globe will share their expertise with the goal of translating academic advances in academia to clinical practice.

As a ‘rotating’ organizer of a series of four ASMRM meetings, we intend for this event to serve as a platform to discuss how advances in technology can benefit patients. It is important that we continuously ask ourselves –“How can academia assume key roles in patient care? In what ways do innovative MRI technologies improve healthcare? Do these new imaging techniques benefit the treatment plan?” Therefore, the theme of ASMRM 2022 will be – Translating Advances in Technology to the Patient’s Benefit.

As with all fruitful conferences, we will strive to serve as cordial hosts, and we will value excellence, respect, and collaboration. This will be a unique opportunity to meet colleagues and friends from different parts of the Asian region. Please join us for this event and submit your research to the scientific session or the poster exhibition. We also welcome case series/reports.

I hope that you will be able to enjoy the beauty of Taiwan as well as its culture, cuisine, and hospitality. We hope that by May 2022, we will have returned to a normal life, and I am sincerely looking forward to welcoming all of you to Taipei.
